Neil Sharpe has been composing music and playing in various bands for over 30 yrs.
Neil originates from rural Warwickshire and began playing music on the English folk scene. He was inspired in those days by Clannad and World Music.
In more recent years he has been involved with Native American rhythms and African Music and especially percussion and helped form a drumming group called Malimbo Drums. He has been playing Djembe drums for 10 yrs leading workshops in African rhythms and singing workshops, providing music for Shamanic workshops.
Recently he has been playing Egyptian Darbuka and frame drums for Belly Dance and has now produced his Cd Qetesh.
Neil plays a number of instruments including Whistles, Flutes, keyboards, Guitar, Bouzouki, Celtic Bodhron, Keyboards, African Balfon and Djembe Drums. Darbuka Drum, Frame drums.
